Last Night – Storytellers’ Club
Last night saw the return of Storytellers’ Club. We gathered round the glowing embers of a fake log fire and heard some cracking tales. Sarah Bennetto hosted, narrated and poked fun at the time I accidently hung out with Daniel Beddingfield. Geraldine Hickey regaled us with the time she met Missy Elliott in a Melbourne bowling alley – liips like a horse apparently. Andrew O’Neill painted scenes of satanic architecture and a wistful tale about a french polisher. Carrie (Not Carey, Karl or Richard) recounted an audition for the musical Fame in which she fell on her face – twice! Josh ” The Voice” Earl sang an hilarious song about being a young Nirvana fan going with his Mum to a John Farnham concert – rawk! Oh and I told a couple of yarns too.
The next Storytellers’ Club is tuesday 6 April. Tuxedo Cat. 11pm. For more info and line-ups, check out www.facebook.com/group.php?v=wall&gid=4892904394
It’s in the same room as Sarah Bennetto’s King And I – which I wholeheartedly recommend. She’s met Prince Charles, you know. It’s at 6.15pm every day tues-sun.
